AMIC - AMIC Info

Membership is required for many of the services on the AMIC site.

There is no charge for becoming a member of AMIC.

By registering as a member of AMIC, you will be able to enter all of the member only pages on the site. The personal information supplied on the form is kept confidential. It is never made available to any third parties. AMIC only uses the information to contact you for such things as your Guru Queries, Ad Jobs listings and for statistical analysis for our supporters. AMIC does NOT send unsolicited announcements. OK, we confess. We did it once in 4 years. We won't do it again. That was to notify members of our new monthly email AMIC-announce newsletter.

What do I do, I forgot my username or password?

You should just re-register. There is no charge, and we do not send unsolicited e-mail, so that there is no downside. We can not determine you password, it is converted to a secure value that can not be retrieved. So just re-register.

Compuserve users:
To compose your e-mail address, you must add "@compuserve.com" on to the end of your user ID and substitute the comma with a period. For example, Compuserver user 12345,6789 has an email address of 12345.6789@compuserve.com.

AOL users:
To compose your e-mail address, you must add "@aol.com" on to the end of your user name. For example, Joe Smith whos user login is JSmith on AOL has an email address of JSmith@aol.com.

In order to gain access to AMIC and use our system, you will need to choose a member name (an online handle, not necessarily your real name), so that you can log into the system and so that you can be identified when you post information on AMIC.

Each time you log into AMIC, you will only need to enter your member name (not your real name) and your password.

Your member name and password must be alpha-numeric. Remember that both the member name and password are case sensitive.
